We spent Christmas in Atlanta at Auntie T and UK's house. The whole family was there and we had a blast!

Even though Jackson is still too young to appreciate Christmas, we still managed to have a ball. Thanks Tracy and Kevin for hosting-it was the best yet!! Merry Christmas!

Santa!!

We went to the mall last night and saw Santa. It was mostly for a photo opportunity and as usual, Jackson was a great sport. He was very curious about Santa's beard and his enormous belt buckle, but once he had thoroughly inspected them, we got a few good shots and the "professional" photos came out great.

More Tree Fun

Jackson's vocabulary has taken off in the last couple of weeks. It's amazing how many words he knows and he loves to walk up to the Christmas tree and identify all of the different ornaments.

It's Christmas!

We put up our Christmas tree while Jackson was napping, in hopes that he'd be really excited to see the lighted tree when he woke up. We got our wish. He was excited. The video is a bit long, but we couldn't decide where to edit so we kept the whole thing. Even a week later, Jackson is still so excited to see the "tee!" and the "hot" (lights) and that's what Christmas is all about.

Bragging Rights

Sean and I have been counting with Jackson probably since the day he was born. This morning, he surprised me by counting to 10 all on his own! I got him to do on camera this afternoon. The "ten" is questionable, but we don't care. We are so proud!

New Toy?

I got an early Christmas present the other day! It's a painted wine glass that came in a tube. I love the wine glass and Jackson loves the tube. In fact, he's played with it more than any other toy in his toy box. Who knew it would be such a hit? He loves to put things in it (like his sippy cup!) and he loves to put the top on, take the top off, put it on, etc. If he could bring it to bed with him, I'm pretty sure he would.

Old Friends!

Trae and Pam came to visit last weekend and we had a great time! They made it in time for dinner Friday and Pam brought her famous chicken corn chowder. It was the perfect start for a perfect weekend! Jackson graced us by sleeping in until 7:00 on Saturday morning and when he woke up, he was so excited to see Uncle Trae!! When he realized Pam was here too, it was even better! We took them downtown for lunch and then to our future neighborhood. There is lots of new construction going on and there were several open houses. Jackson (No Napson Jackson, I might add) rallied and we were able to go through 8 houses, which was so fun. We stayed up late on Saturday and Jackson slept in until 7:00 again on Sunday. He's a good boy, but he sure was sad to see Uncle Trae and Pam go. We were too because it was great weekend!
