Happy Halloween?

Happy Halloween from our little monkey!

We had grand plans for Halloween this year. First, Jackson's old enough to go trick or treating, at least to a few houses. Sean's coworker lives in a big neighborhood and they invited us over for an early dinner and then trick or treating. We went out, got Jackson a cute monkey costume and a big plastic pumpkin for his loot and set off. Dinner and the company were great. But Jackson was a little overwhelmed by the time we were ready to go get candy. We got the boy in his costume and it quickly went downhill from there. We tried putting him in his stroller, letting him walk and carrying him, but he did not want anything to do with Halloween or trick or treating at all. He did go to one house, but he did so kicking and screaming in his dad's arms the whole way. Once they joined me, Jackson threw himself down in the middle of street and that was it. We thanked our friends for dinner, loaded the boy up, and went home. With one lonely candy bar. Maybe next year will be more successful?

I don't wanna go!

Take me home!!!!!

Awww, next year will be better! And thankfully, he won't remember this when he gets older...probably! :)
